Developed in GDES 150 (Digital Design Applications), this project explores geometric illustration through a low-poly self-portrait. The goal was to translate a photographic image into simplified polygonal forms while maintaining recognizable structure. Using the Pen Tool, I constructed the portrait through carefully placed shapes and refined color variation to create depth. A partial composition approach was used as a creative solution to emphasize abstraction.
The final illustration demonstrates the ability to simplify complex imagery into structured geometric compositions.
