I’m Alexander Zoellner, an aspiring graphic designer focused on creating cohesive visuals across a range of mediums, from print to digital. I particularly enjoy working with illustration and branding.
My approach to design depends on the project. For example, when designing a poster or app interface, I consider how a viewer will engage with the piece and what they will notice first. I also focus on problem-solving, especially when working on interface design. Overall, I adapt my approach to best suit each project.
I am most skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma. I am currently expanding my skill set by learning motion graphics in Adobe After Effects.
I began studying graphic design during my sophomore year of high school and attended Herndon Career Center during my senior year. Since then, I have continued to develop my skills and draw inspiration from various art movements, particularly Ukiyo-e and Bauhaus.
